Visitor Centre Update
Work on the new Visitor Centre started on Monday 3 March. Our builders set up their equipment and started working. This is an exciting step for a project we began seven years ago, and it also marks 50 years since Ham Hill Country Park first opened.
The Visitor Centre will share the history of Ham Hill, from the rocks and land to how the park is cared for today. It will also have a café and a small shop, which will help earn money for the park’s future. We hope to open the centre in the Autumn. Lime Kiln car park will stay closed while building is going on.
Other construction updates
Other building work will happen around Ham Hill to bring water, internet, and electricity to the new Visitor Centre and to make the other car parks better.
Starting Monday 3 March, some roads will be closed, which might make it harder to get to the pub and Rangers Centre. Please follow the signs around Ham Hill and park in the car parks.
From Monday 10 March, work will start in the car parks. Each car park will close, one at a time, while workers fix them. Please use other car parks while one is closed.
